A message about the acquisition from Rev. Jim Blake, CEO of Unity World Headquarters. Please watch and then continue reading for information about next steps.

Dear Unity Family,

Today we honor a sacred moment in the life of our movement. The vote to move forward with the acquisition has been approved, and we pause to recognize the divine presence guiding us forward.

To those who voted yes, you have embraced and affirmed the possibilities before us, and we are grateful you have placed your trust in Unity World Headquarters. To those who voted no, please know that your voice matters deeply. You are an essential part of Unity—your wisdom, your love, and your commitment to the movement remain vital as we walk this path together. This decision does not separate us; it calls us all to lean into our spiritual principles of oneness, compassion, and mutual respect.

Together we will cocreate a new chapter in the storied history of the Unity movement that we all love.

What’s Next?

This is important to know: Nothing will change immediately. Unity Worldwide Ministries is still your go-to resource by phone and email. The UWM website will remain live for a few months. There is nothing you need to do differently until further notice. Please check your emails or unity.org for new information as it develops.

Below is the timeline for the next steps. If some of these links go to pages that do not seem to have been updated since the vote, wait a few hours and try again.

Communication and Information

Until the online portal opens, communication will continue as it has—through discussion at Town Halls and submitting questions through the website. We will continue to communicate openly and create spaces for dialogue and prayer as we move forward. Also please check and read your email. It will be a frequent means of communication until the online portal is up and running.

The charter that will be the governing document for Unity Communities and Leaders is available on unity.org along with the many questions that have been asked and answered in past months. A Risk Assessment Report has also been added.

If you are currently donating to UWM, please continue as usual until further notice.

Thank you for your faith, your courage, and your unwavering dedication to Unity’s mission.

Blessings on our new journey together!

Jim Blake, CEO
