Of course, UWM has begun offering the annual business meeting online, and is adjusting thoughts about annual conventions. Your GLR board has just decided to move our annual business meeting into Zoom, scheduled for October 2025; specific date yet to be decided. This allows more folks to join from throughout our eight states. This change helps reduce the amount of time dedicated to an annual in-person regional gathering for a conference and/or retreat.
September is our annual time for conference—a vision for our time together though is essential. What serves you today? What serves our region today? A survey to collect your input is being emailed to you January 6th. The Board values your input and your patience as we process excellent input from the 2024 conference, and excellent visionary thinking submitted to us post our first ‘field-test’ of the Hubs conference idea.
