Ethics Training - Sexual Harassment in Church

Come join Rev. Deb Hill Davis and Rev. Wilma Taylor Costen as they lead this web training.  This training will share information about the definitions of sexual harassment and cover church related issues in regards to this topic.  Participants will view a short video about "No means No!" and then break out into sessions for discussion of different possible scenarios that a minister might encounter in church.  Afterward, we will have a brief share out of what people were thinking.

Other topics to be discussed include boundary issues, being a mandated reporter, and safeguarding children.

We also will have a small panel of experienced ministers in the Region who have had some experiences with harassment issues in their church and have walked through other particular ethical challenges.  This volunteer group will offer particular support to ministersd who are dealing with these issues in their churches.  CEU Credit available.

Fee of $40 per person.
