PURPOSE OF THE LDMT
To enhance the ministerial skills of Unity Ministers, Spiritual Leaders, Field Licensing Program Candidates, Licensed Unity Teachers and Candidates in preparation for regional service on the Board of Trustees, Peacemaking Team, or Ministry Teams.
LDMT MEMBERSHIP
Board Liaison, Team Chair, and two team members. The Regional Representative and Judicatory Representative serve in an advisory role to the Ministry Team. The term of service is three years.
LDMT RESPONSIBILTIES
- Report the team’s activities monthly to the Board of Trustees
- Communicate the availability of scholarship funds through the Communications Liaison
- The team must have an understanding of all course prerequisites and requirements.
- If an applicant requests a non-approved course, the team will evaluate the appropriateness of the course.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
- Has completed two years in a GLURC ministry
- Currently holds a Ministry Team position within GLURC
- Has demonstrated a willingness to serve in a GLURC Leadership role.
- Must not be on review or in the process of completing a Required Plan of Action
