It is with great sadness that the board announces the resignations from the Great Lakes Regional Board of Trustees of Rev. Ted Schneider, Rev. Josette Jackson, and Rev. Sandra McKinney. We have been blessed by their service and commitment to the region and the Unity movement. They will be missed. We affirm great new adventures and opportunities are now available for each of them.
In alignment with the bylaws of the Region, the Board has appointed Rev. Ray Nelson, to fulfill the term vacated by Rev. Ted. Rev. Ray has been serving as an alternate since the September 2016 Conference and will finish out the final two years remaining on the term expiring in 2019.
The Board is currently considering a number of candidates to fulfill the remaining two positions, and will announce the selections as soon as the process is finalized.
We thank everyone for their patience during this time of transition and ask for your continued prayers for the right and best outcomes.
